Growing up, siblings Seddrick "Popeye" Rodgers and Earnestine "Earnie" Rodgers experienced the unforgettable flavor of their mother Pamela Rodgers' fried chicken.
Inspired by a treasured family recipe passed down from their grandmother, Ernestine Williams, their mother's cooking became a tradition that friends and family couldn't get enough of.
That family tradition became the inspiration behind Rodger That! Seasoned Batter.

Founded around 2013 in Gary, Indiana, Rodger That! is the vision of siblings Seddrick "Popeye" Rodgers and Earnestine "Earnie" Rodgers.
Operating under the legal business name Fresh & Full, LLC, the family set out to share the delicious home-cooked flavor that had been enjoyed for generations.
After years of catering events and receiving requests from friends and family, the siblings dedicated more than a decade to perfecting a seasoned batter that makes preparing flavorful fried chicken and fish easier for everyone.
What started with a family recipe has grown into a brand rooted in love, perseverance, quality, and community.
The Name Behind the Flavor

The name Rodger That! was inspired by childhood friend Johnte Ford. It is a name that reflects our roots, our relationships, and the people who have been part of our journey.
We also extend a special thank you to Kevin "Hope" Chatman for his continued support and encouragement throughout the years.
